The Open Water Diver certification is a full certification and qualifies you to:
Dive independently with another certified diver while applying the knowledge and skills you learn in this course, within the limits of your training and experience.
Procure air fills, scuba equipment and other services for use while diving supervised.
Plan, conduct and log open water no stop (no decompression) dives when equipped properly
in conditions
which you have training and/or experience to a maximum recommended depth
of 60 feet.
What You Need To Do
Step 1 -
Come into the store to register and pick up your Open Water Diver
Crew Pak.
Step 2 -
Do the assigned reading then do the knowledge review at the end of the chapter.
Step 3 -
Attend five classroom and pool sessions.
Step 4 -
With your instructor complete four Open Water Experience Dives.
Step 5 -
Fill out the required paperwork, get your picture taken and the instructor
will send for your card. Congratulations. You are now a certified PADI Open Water Diver.
