Equipment Services

Regulator Servicing:
At least once a year you should have your regulators  serviced.  More often if you dive a lot in salt  or silty waters.  Even if you have not used your regulators all year they still need to be serviced to keep them lubricated and in adjustment.
Buoyancy Control Devices (BCD's):

Take your BCD along when you take in your regs for servicing.  The technician will check that your OPV's (Over Pressure Valves) are working properly and your inflator is clean and not sticking.

Tanks:

There are two tests for your tank.  The first is the Visual Inspection and should be completed at least once each year.  If you should completely drain your tank it must be inspected before refilling to ensure no contaminates have entered.  This is very important to protect you from breathing fouled air.  The second inspection or test needs to be done once every five years.  This the the Hydrostatic test.  The tank is filled with water and pressurized to 5/3 of it's working pressure.  Measurements are taken before and after to test the tanks integrity.

PADI dive stores will not fill a tank that does not show proof of current Visual Inspection and Hydrostatic testing.

Other Services:

Broken your mask; lost part of your snorkel, broken a fin strap or ripped your wetsuit?  We can help!  Most name brand manufacturers offer replacement parts, many of which we carry in stock.  We can also repair small cuts and tears to wetsuits or drysuits.
